I am a British qualified teacher with over 25 years experience across the primary sector. I taught for many years in both key stage one and key stage 2, my most recent class teacher role being in Year 6. I have been a Primary Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, and I have experience of tutoring for SATs, 11+ and Grammar school entry exams. I generally take a maximum of 3 students per year for exam entry with a high success rate.
I have a current crb clearance certificate and am happy to travel within 5 miles of Dunstable, Watford and Hemel Hempstead. Additionally, I am in and around Barnet on Wednesday and Thursday. Alternatively, students can come to my home in Dunstable.

I offer a pre teaching meeting hour with parents and student to discuss individual needs and to outline a plan of action free of charge.

Availability: Available after 6pm Mon, Tuesday and Wednesday, and after 7pm on Thursday.

Experience: I qualified from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1991 with a B.Ed Honours 2:1 degree. I also hold the NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headteachers) from the East Midlands Leadership College.
I have taught across the full Primary age range as a class teacher, was a primary Deputy Headteacher and Headteacher, ran booster groups for able pupils to enable them to achieve higher SATs outcomes and have experience of tutoring pupils for Leeds Grammar School, South West Herts Consortium schools, Haberdashers Girls and the Buckinghamshire 11+ as well as others.
