I am a professional actor and English graduate from Trinity College, Cambridge University.
I strongly believe that confidence is key in helping students reach their full potential. Across every subject I teach, I foster a trusting and communicative environment that allows the student to thrive.

Experience: I have experience tutoring English for a variety of ages and requirements, from 11+ to university applications this includes comprehension, essay writing skills and creative writing (all of which feature on most exam boards). I have worked extensively with all major English exams across all age groups and exam requirements - in particular, I have worked with a wide variety of students for the 11+.
In addition to my experience as an English tutor, I also work with students for public speaking and interview preparation.

Emma is a fantastic tutor. She has really brought out some fantastic work from my nine year old daughter and helped her with some areas she was finding tricky in school. I have no reservations about recommending her. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her sessions and Emma is a lovely person.

Emma was great and our son Oscar really improved as soon as they started working together. She was very flexible with times, even though we were in South America. She didn`t take any messing around and was firm when needed. Oscar did his 11+ and got into his chosen school.

We had only one lesson. Emma came across as a good solid tutor. She advised us on a purchase of good materials for A Level Literature. Unfortunately she has never was able to come again due to personal circumstances. For us it was a waist of valuable time and money, that why I gave a 3 star only.
