My last English literature GCSE student went from a high C average mark to an A** exam result.

I`m an affable, friendly and patient tutor, willing to tailor my teaching method to the student`s specific needs. I prefer a structured approach for older children looking to build the knowledge needed to pass their exams, and a more organic process for younger children whose parents are trying to instil in them a love of their language.

I have several years experience working with students to improve their English language and literature skills, from 8 up to GCSE.

I have 5 years experience in building advanced Excel and data visualisation models (including in Tableau), for adult learning.
