As a teacher I enjoy planning creative lessons where students are tested frequently and I enjoy setting up creative lessons such as ones where students carry their own research, this really help to prepare both Sociology and Psychology students for applied methods questions. I ensure that students look at questions, mark schemes and sample answers every lesson, to ensure that they are prepared for their exams. I enjoy showing short videos that are relevant to the topic, like in Bio Psychology and in Sociology videos on globalisation and education and crime. This I feel helps my students to understand especially for those more visual learners.

Availability: monday to Friday after 3pm

Experience: I am a Psychology and Sociology teacher, who has been teaching for 22 years. I have mainly taught A Levels, and GCSE Sociology and Psychology. I know the AQA specification really well as I have teaching AQA most of the time, and every year I examine for Sociology. Recently I also Have had experience of teaching Psychology Cambridge International specification which revolved around teaching core studies only, which is similar to other non AQA specs. I have also had experience of teaching OCR Sociology A Level and GCSE.
