Information about Hermione
IGCSE maths tutor looking to help students enjoy mathematical problem solving and achieve the best marks they can as a result.
Sitting down to memorise page after page has never worked for me, I really have to understand what the problem is and how I can approach it. In terms of teaching, this means helping students to take a step back and work up from the very basics, no matter how complex the eventual problem.
Availability: Available weekday evenings (from 5.30pm) and weekends
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have a first-class degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London and nearly three years of experience in financial consultancy.
At school I achieved straight A*s at GCSE and A-level, including iGCSE maths, A-level maths and A-level further maths.
