I am a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate with a first-class Joint Honours degree in Music and French from Royal Holloway, University of London. My amicable personality and enthusiasm allows me to deliver the highest standard of teaching with engaging yet inclusive lessons. I aim to combine my relevant work experience and expertise with my eagerness to develop my individual teaching style to motivate and engage with my pupils.

Experience: Private one-to-one tutoring in French and Music Theory, from ages 8-21 years, including interview preparation for university. Private one-to-one teaching in Piano and Voice, from ages 6-15 years. Proofreading for university essays, UCAS personal statements and GCSE English exam preparation
I speak French fluently (obtaining the highest mark of C2 in the Erasmus Plus OLS language assessment), and German to A-Level standard. During the year abroad as part of my undergraduate degree, I undertook a 9-month placement at a secondary school and Sixth Form in France. I taught 12 classes a week, with an age-range of 13-18. I planned my own lessons in a range of broad topics, and employed a number of pedagogical styles that are not common in France. I particularly specialised in oral skills and pronunciation exercises with exam classes.
