Information about Gemma
I have 10 years experience as a primary school teacher specialising in early years and key stage 1. I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who loves to be creative with teaching.
I have experience teaching children from Foundation stage to Year 6 of all abilities. I am able to differentiate work according to specific needs and areas to develop.
I have worked with whole classes, small groups and on a one to one basis including those with special educational needs.
Availability: Weekdays from 4pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have worked with Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children and taught all aspects of the curriculum, including delivering the Year 2 Sats. I have lead Science, RE, phonics and early reading as subjects. I have been responsible for training newly qualified teachers and have mentored PGCE students. I am a serving governor for a local primary school.
