Hi! My name is Katya.

I am currently a third-year medical student studying at university. I have always really enjoyed tutoring and am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I remember the support that I received when preparing for my GCSEs and A levels and how important that was for me, and want to provide the same advice and guidance to others.

The general lesson structure that I have found most effective includes;
○;; a discussion surrounding the student`s current knowledge
○;; laying out a summary of the content we intend to cover within the session
○;; practice questions / past papers to assess how the student is able to apply their knowledge of the content
○;; reviewing answers and identifying the areas that require more practice and attention

Every student`s learning style is unique, therefore it is important to me to adjust the lesson structure accordingly to ensure that it is the best fit for each person.

Availability: Very flexible with my availability.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have worked as a tutor for 2 years, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics to students of all ages - from year 3 through A level.
