Experienced, resourceful, adaptable tutor with professional teaching background. I have a BA Hons, an MA, a PGCE, and am CRB checked. I try to keep sessions focused yet unstressed, putting confidence before competition. Having said that, I like to achieve because I believe good grades are a passport to wider opportunities.

Availability: Please note: I can only tutor during the day with some availability on Saturdays. I am unlikely to have any evening availability for many, MANY years as when one customer has completed their GCSEs, I often start working with their younger sibling!
I charge £25/hour (discounted for longer sessions which work well if we`re covering 2 or more subjects). I`m happy to work with 2 children at once if they are covering the same topics. I usually tutor in your home, but am happy to meet at a public venue if that suits.
The majority of my work is tutoring English and Maths GCSEs and this is what I do best. Thanks.

Experience: I spent 15 years as an English teacher in a local High School. Gradually I moved into tutoring, working privately and for Suffolk CC`s EOTAS service for 8 years. I now tutor privately and cover a broad range of subjects - English to A-level, Maths and many others (Latin, Business, Sociology...) to GCSE level.
