I am a conscientious English Literature Graduate, with a First Class BA Degree from Durham University and an MA in `Issues in Modern Culture` from UCL. I have studied English Literature, History, Philosophy and Theatre Studies at A-level, gaining an A* in all four subjects. I also have A* GCSEs in Maths, the Core Sciences and Spanish.

I have experience tutoring individuals of all ages, including helping with 11+ exams, GCSEs, A-levels and applying to university. I have covered essay planning, issues with syntax, grammar, spelling, essay structure, analysis, formal style - all specifically geared for exam preparation. A flexible tutoring technique has enabled me to tailor my style to each student`s needs, focusing on building up confidence in unsure students.

I am calm, friendly, and organized, with a reputation for being patient when teaching individuals of all ages. I have a very strong work ethic, and find working hard very rewarding. Most importantly, I believe that work should be made enjoyable, as it is when an individual enjoys what they do that they get the best results.

I currently work in the publishing industry.
