I am 24 years old and have recently passed my finals exam for Medicine at University College London. During my time there, I have completed an intercalated BSc in Pharmacology for which I was awarded the Pharmacology Prize for achieving the highest marks in the year. Having studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-Level, as well as Geography at AS-level, I feel that I will make an experienced tutor in these subject areas.
In my private time, I enjoy watching and playing football, cycling, tennis and watching any sport I can find on TV. I also enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on (currently working through the John Le Carre novels).
Availability: I am available on weekday afternoons and evenings and also on weekends.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have been involved with tutorials from secondary school, having first taught children in the years below me since year 9 at Reading Boys` Grammar. I have carried that into my time at UCL and have taken part in MedSoc teaching activities for younger years. I am comfortable with children, young adults and adults of all ages. Having worked at a local school for 2 years (in both year 5 and year 6 classes), I have a wealthy experience in teaching and personal skills.
I have an advanced knowledge in tutoring UK A-level exam boards (OCR, Edexcel, AQA etc.).
I am especially capable of tutoring Maths at any level and in my own Maths A-level I achieved 585/600 UMS points.
