I am well-known as a fun, easy-to-work-with teacher and encourage students with a can-do attitude. With over 25 years of both classroom and private tutoring, I have an excellent track record for results and keeping students interested in learning. Parents often comment that I am the teacher they wish they`d had!

I specialise in a being an all-rounder at advanced levels. This means I teach right up to A level in most subjects with my students over more than 20 years having an excellent success rate.

When not teaching, I`m writing for educational publishers or giving education consultancy advice to education providers around the world. My latest book - "Try Not To Laugh" is a book on revising and memorising for exams.

I am a bestselling author and acclaimed TEDx talk speaker.

Availability: I have limited spaces for students during the week. I provide online lessons via Skype.

Experience: I have been a classroom teacher since 1998. I have tutored privately since 1992.
I was a deputy department head for 8 years in Whitehaven and coordinated the O level department for a school in Bangladesh for 5 years where I also trained teachers.
I write books, chapters and articles for education publishers and editors all over the world.
