Information about Nadia
Welcome! Im Nadia, a dedicated tutor with a passion for teaching and a wealth of experience. With six years as a medical doctor and just one year away from qualifying as a General Practitioner, I bring a deep understanding of medical concepts and a hands-on approach to learning. I also hold a First Class Honours degree in Medical Chemistry, which equips me with a strong foundation in the sciences.
My tutoring journey spans 14 years, during which I have successfully guided learners of all ages, from children to adults, across a wide range of subjects. My extensive experience has honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring they grasp complex concepts with confidence.
I am able to teach various subjects such as English, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and physics as well as offer support to those that are thinking of applying to medical school in terms of UKCAT, BMAT, personal statements and interview help.
I also prepare students for the 11 plus and entrance examination.
Tutoring Approach:
I want my students to enjoy learning about their subject. I adapt to my students learning needs and have access to a large range of exam questions from various boards.
Lessons will consist of theory and then doing past exam questions.
I can explain intricate topics in an accessible way, making learning enjoyable and engaging.
I understand that everyone learns at their own pace, and I provide a supportive environment to foster growth.
My medical and scientific training encourages analytical thinking, which I instil in my students.
I inspire students to set and achieve their goals, cultivating a love for learning that extends beyond our sessions.
Im excited to share my knowledge and help you or your child excel academically. Lets embark on this educational journey together!

Feedback For Nadia (1)

Cancelled lesson twice with a very convenient (but flawed) excuse leaving it too late for me to find anyone else. Other reviews seem to show a similar pattern - not reliable.

Whilst Nadia is a good tutor, it is near impossible to schedule tuition with her. Then if you do manage to schedule she either cancels last minute or asks to reschedule with no follow through, wasting both time and money.
Tutors Response :
Hi Latricia,
I`m sorry you feel like this. I wish you all the best and hope you succeed in getting into medical school. Good luck.
Regards, Dr. Ahmad

Lovely lady, very good with her job but inconsistent, keeps swapping slots and not fulfilling her commitments. I found her very busy, always expecting me to change my plans for her and blaming me for being inflexible. I would only recommend if you are willing to play by her rules. She left my son in suspense with just a text notification.
Tutors Response :
Hi Josie,
I`m sorry you feel like this. Unfortunately being a busy doctor in hospital means that if I feel I cannot give my student 100% of my time then I think it`s best for them to search for another tutor who can. I believe it is better to be honest then to make you pay £30-35 an hour. Hope all is well. Regards. Dr. Ahmad.
