I`m a qualified primary teacher with over 14 years of experience, including roles as Assistant Headteacher, English Lead, and Year 4, 5 and 6 specialist. I`ve supported pupils across a range of abilities, including those with SEND, and have a strong track record in helping children build confidence and make progress, particularly in English and Maths. Having led whole-school English and behaviour, and worked as a writing moderator, I bring deep curriculum knowledge and a clear, structured approach to teaching. I love creating personalised, engaging lessons that meet each learner`s needs — whether for SATs prep, maths skills, writing improvement, or developing reading fluency. I’m passionate about helping children succeed beyond the classroom, and tutoring allows me to give focused, one-to-one support that makes a lasting difference.

Experience: I have extensive experience of preparing pupils for KS2 SATs, supporting reading, writing, grammar, spelling and mathematics. As a SATs marker, I have an in-depth knowledge of the tests and test cycle, and, as a writing moderator, a deep knowledge of Year 6 writing, particularly at Greater Depth. I have a strong understanding of the GL 11+ examination and the requirements of local grammar schools.
