An established and professional tutor with over 5 years experience teaching GCSE English Language and Literature. I have worked with reputable tuition companies including Tuition Kings and Grove Tutors.

My sessions are proven to help my students see huge improvements in their analytical and evaluative abilities, in addition to their creative writing and interpretation of contemporary and classical texts.

I have taught over 25 students on a one to one basis, and over 60 when including group sessions. My methods revolve around continuous exam practice, thus inspiring greater confidence when assessment periods arrive.

Availability: I am available between 4 and 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Between 12-5pm on Saturdays, and all of Sunday.

Experience: - Tutored over 60 students in total on a weekly basis since 2018, much of this during full-time undergraduate study.
- Created lesson and revision plans from student curriculum for four GCSE subjects, and helped students create personal study plans pertaining to lesson content.
- Communicated sophisticated topics in English clearly and concisely to students aged 10-18, including remotely with the aid of an iPad and iPad pencil.
- Planned student curriculums 3-6 months in advance, monitoring monthly progress with assessments, providing feedback to guardians after every lesson, in person and via email.
- Marked, gave feedback on weekly homework assignments, exam practice papers and essays and formulated periodical end of unit practice exams to consolidate student knowledge.
- Kept track of student progress with a diary detailing post-lesson thoughts on performance, interaction and understanding.
- Composed an extensive collection of resources in tutored subjects over the years, which allows me to develop a unique tuition program for each individual student.
- Have helped and guided students through university applications, specifically in writing personal statements.
