Hi! I am doing a PhD in Maths and Stats at the University of Strathclyde. Previously I did an MPhil in Earth Sciences (Geophysical Fluid Dynamics) at the University of Cambridge, and I also hold a Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

I am a native Italian speaker and I enjoy studying languages, so I am familiar with the process of learning a language from a student`s persepctive. I am offering tutoring for Italian language and for Maths, Sciences and Physics.

Availability: Remote tutoring is preferred, but happy to teach in person locally. I am based in Glasgow at the moment.

Experience: I completed an undergraduate course in Mathematics, focusing on the applied aspects of the subject and covering physics material as well. I am doing a PhD in maths with a focus on modelling and statistics.

I have been tutoring undergraduate students since 2019. I have tutored Cambridge undergraduate maths students in their second and third year, and university students at the University of Strathclyde in first, second and third year. I have attended multiple traning sessions on tutoring offered by my university, and I also recently became a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Since 2021 I have also been freelance tutoring students online for a range of subjects. I have helped student prepare for their A-levels and for university entrance exams such as MAT and TMUA. I offered knoweldge building sessions and personal statment support for university applicants, as well as reading skills for maths sessions.

Between June 2019 and March 2020 I taught at after school clubs in Cambridgeshire as a primary-school science demonstrator.

I have had experience tutoring high-school students from Italy. I taught face-to-face English and Maths lessons to Italian students in Y11-Y13, and helped them achieve better grades in their tests.

Overall, I am an enthusiastic but patient teacher and I really enjoy helping students better understand their chosen subjects in a fun and engaging way.
