I am a highly experienced and qualified school teacher with a distinguished track record, specializing in English Language, Literature, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Passionate about equipping pupils with the skills and confidence they need to excel in their 11+ exams, I am dedicated to helping them secure a place at their first-choice secondary school.

My extensive tutoring experience includes preparing students for 11+ exams, grammar and independent school entrance tests, and SATs exams. I hold a PhD in Education, along with M.Ed. and B.Ed. degrees, reinforcing my expertise in teaching and academic development.

As a tutor, I focus on English and Verbal Reasoning for students preparing for 11+ exams. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching children in Years 4 and 5, ensuring my sessions are engaging, relatable, and tailored to each student`s needs, interests, and abilities. My goal is to foster meaningful progress, boost confidence, and instill a love for learning.

Additionally, I offer access to an interactive online portal that supports learning through flashcards, games, and various educational tools, providing students with an engaging and comprehensive learning experience.

Availability: Weekdays in the evening only.

Experience: I have been teaching in primary, secondary and have provided teachers’ training to in-service teachers. I have 7 years of experience teaching in India and 4 years in the UK (DBS checked).

I regularly conduct Mock Tests at regular intervals to check the level of preparedness of my students. I have an in-depth knowledge of requirements for CEM, GL and private school entrance tests across the country. Over the past several years, in my tutoring career, most of my students have passed their 11+ entrance exams and got their first choice of school. I feel happy being part of their 11 plus journey.
