Hi

I have a deep understanding of education, with extensive teaching experience, both in mainstream school settings and as a private tutor. I taught for 10 years in a Primary setting and now work full time offering: alternative education, exam preparation, SEND and catch up support.

I studied both Early Childhood Studies and Psychology at university before undertaking a PGCE. I teach all ages from 4+ and am highly experienced in all key stages. I can offer a wide range of subjects, including:

Phonics
Reading and comprehension
Spelling and Grammar
Writing
Mathematics

I provide support in readiness for 11+ and SATS examinations, as well as regular catch up and booster sessions. I am highly adaptable, with a sound knowledge of learning styles. I am able to find new and exciting ways to teach, where children have the confidence to learn and reach their full potential. I have many years SEND experience and supported students with a variety of needs who have previously been unable to access mainstream provision.

I pride myself on developing strong working relationships with both the students I teach and their families and maintain open dialogue throughout. I provide supportive and nurturing lessons to build children`s self esteem and resilience.

Availability: I am available afternoon/ evening during term time. Weekends and holidays.

Experience: I am highly experienced across all sectors including; Early Years, Primary, Ks3 and Ks4.
