Sally

I am currently a year 5 teacher at a primary school in Leicester city centre. We have a current Ofsted grading of "outstanding." I am in my tenth year of teaching and am classed as an "outstanding" teacher. I have had teaching experience in year 1/2, 3/4 and year 5/6 covering all classes. I work extremely hard for the children I teach, ensuring they receive the best possible education.

I am open-minded and positive at all times and am very flexible in adapting to people and situations. I believe children learn best my building a positive relationship with their teacher and learning through real life experiences.

I entered teaching as I believe passionately that every child has the right to an education that develops their full academic, social and emotional potential.

In my personal life, I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym and running. In 2012, I completed the London Marathon in 4 hours, 14 minutes, an achievement I am extremely proud of.

Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 400pm.
All day Thursday and Friday.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have experience of tutoring 1-1 with children who attend the school where I teach, from year 1 to year 6. I have also done some tutoring for family friends and with children whose parents / carers have contacted me on here from year 2 to year 6 in both English and Maths. During lockdown, I am offering online lessons only.
