Hello! I’m Rifah, an 18 year old woman who recently graduated Sixth Form. My strength is creativity and art, hence I would be delighten to teach eager pupils the techniques and skills I have learnt and mastered over the past years. By completing Fine Art at a Grade A* at both GCSE and A-Level, as well as being confirmed into University of Liverpool for 2022 with a reduced grade offer due to my exceptional, preferred art portfolio, I have evidently acquired high-standard abilty and talent for this subject. I have also been interested in English during my school and college years, and have achieved an impressive 119/120 in my GCSE English coursework, as well as obtaining the highest grade possible in the exams.

Art, design and creative writing is a skill that can be improved and grasped by anyone who practices, implements advice and teachings and most importantly, enjoys exploring their creativity and imagination! That is why I am keen to help students of any age to express and unleash their innovative and artistic capabilty, as well as have a fantastic and supportive time during the process.

I am flexible with how I tutor, and will adapt to the student’s learning style to meet their needs. My sessions can be as short or long as you would prefer, however the maximum duration per session I am able to offer is 2 hours. I understand that each person is different, and therefore am highly respectful to students of all backgrounds, ethnicities and religions - I am a firm believer in providing equal attention and care to anyone. Not only that, but providing a safe, inclusive and friendly environment is vital to me during my tutoring sessions.

Availability: I am flexible with my time and can rearrange certain personal events if pupils are in desperate need for a specific date and time, otherwise, these are the dates and times I am able to tutor:

Monday, Tuesday: 12:00pm - 9:30pm

Wednesday, Thursday: 10:00am - 9:30pm

Friday: 9:30am - 9:30pm

Saturday, Sunday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Experience: Primary School Mentor:
I used to supervise, mentor and have weekly sessions with primary school children on reading, writing and artistic abilities. I spent roughly an hour with various children in Years 2, 3 and 4, completing tasks with them, as well as listening, helping and aiding to their questions, concerns and interests.

Form Prefect:
At my Sixth Form, I was a prefect for a Year 8 group for registration mornings and afternoons. Here, I would help organise creative and brain stimulating activities, listen and mentor their problems based on both academic and lifestyle, I helped the form teacher with supervising and encouraging / participating in daily discussions and tasks they were set to do.

My reputation:
I have participated in many online programmes and joined communities related to Art, Design and Architecture which are noted in my LinkedIn, which will be linked below. These have helped me promote my artistic abilities as well as share my talent and skill with others. At Sixth Form, my GCSE sketchbooks and works would be used as a primary example of how to get an A* to students in Years 7-11. As well as this, my A-Level sketchbook is often displayed during Open Mornings that the school hosts till this day!
