I am a flexible, friendly and enthusiastic tutor, I believe that my main strengths lie in my ability to improve student’s confidence and also to help them improve their exam grades. I understand that building a positive relationship with the pupil is vital for improving performance and my calm and friendly nature allow me to do this quickly.
I am a specialist in Biology but I am equally confident with Physics, Chemistry and Maths up to GCSE and I have experience of teaching all three sciences up to GCSE and Biology to A-Level. I am also able to help students prepare for 11+ and 13+ school entrance exams if required.
I have also worked as an examiner for AQA for the past 5 years, which has been very beneficial as it has enabled me to better understand what is required for both long and short answer exam questions. Because of this I am able to ensure improved exam technique and hopefully with it improved results.

Experience: I have 4 and a half years experience as a GCSE Science teacher of which my last year and a half was spent a Trinity High School in Manchester.
I have been tutoring GCSE Science and A-Level Biology for the last 4 years, I also have experience of tutoring A-Level Chemistry, GCSE Maths and preparing for school entrance exams if required.
