Qualified Primary School teacher. Currently teaching in Key Stage 2 and qualified to teach all subjects within the Primary National Curriculum- Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Also I tutor up to GCSE level in Maths.

I became a teacher/tutor, so I can help and support children who are struggling and give them a boost. Over the last several years that I have been been tutoring, I have built up a wide range of strategies to enable children to progress in their learning and can go back to basics, before building up to more complex concepts. Where possible I try to incorporate fun educational games into my sessions to make them more enjoyable and engaging for my students.
As well as teaching my students the core content, I look to challenge them with problem-solving type questions to deepen their understanding of the topic and get them to apply their knowledge to different situations.

Sometimes there just isn`t enough hours in the school day for children to get the full support they need or they just need more time to get their head around concepts. This is where I come in to help children reach their full potential and provide a fun, nurturing learning environment outside of the classroom.

I can be flexible with timings and am willing to tutor for several hours a week if necessary and can increase this further in the lead up to exams e.g. year 6 SATS in May.

Availability: All hours with the exception of Saturday Morning
