I am an enthusiastic French native from Lille living in St Albans.

After volunteering in a local secondary school, I now work part-time as a French Language Assistant and enjoying every minute of it!

I love finding out what makes students light up and teaching them some quirks about the French !

Availability: Monday to Saturday

Experience: I used to volunteer every Friday in a local secondary school working as French teaching assistant for years 9 to 11 (GCSE level). I would also tutor three children weekly (aged 7 to 10). So I got used to preparing material for a lesson but also offering individual support and practicing conversation in small groups.

Since September 2020, I have been the French Language Assistant at Sandringham School, mainly focusing on A Level and GCSE. This would require sourcing material for an hour long session (one to one or one to two) and prompting discussion around the topic related to French society. I also assisted in prepping them for the exam format.

For the younger groups (Y7 and Y8), we would do more role plays and games in French to keep that spark going.
