Information about Liz
I am a qualified primary teacher who has tutored many, many children over the last 25 years and it has become my full-time job. I tutor all primary subjects and include nursery and primary French in that too, leading after-school and nursery clubs.
My other job is marking KS2 SATS Grammar & spelling papers so I know how to be able to revise properly for these and all the tricks.
We offer friendly, well-resourced, professional, affordable, good tuition.
Then I have a bank of qualified, DBS checked -teachers who tutor across all age ranges and subjects upto A level for my local small agency. We cover the areas of Darlington, Teesside and parts of North Yorkshire, Northallerton and Richmond, but not all subjects can be covered in every area. We try our hardest to arrange a tutor for you.
Availability: Very busy but always room somewhere for new clients. We aim to accommodate everyone somehow.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: Taught all ages across Primary phase full time until 2001 then concentrated on part-time behaviour/medical support work and teaching whilst tutoring and leading French clubs. Now do supply alongside tutoring which has become my main job. All tutoring has continued online during Covid-19 and so new technological skills have been learnt too.
SEN and SEND tutoring is my strength, covering dyslexia and autism amongst other things.
