I am an experienced primary school teacher and curriculum leader at a local primary school. I am also an independent children`s author who writes fiction books with teaching and learning opportunities. I am cheerful and light-hearted and love to use memorable and exciting learning experiences to help engage the children. I can provide all learning materials and can guarantee that every child will make progress when having regular tuition lessons.

Availability: I am available most evenings from 5pm and most weekends.

I am flexible and can change tuition slots weekly if required.

Reduced rates per child for multiple child tuition sessions (up to groups of 5).

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I have taught in a variety of different schools for the last 6 years. I have undertaken specific training in the Primary Writing Project which improves children`s reading and writing skills.I am also part of a Maths Mastery research group which looks at ways to teach children maths using a variety of models, resources and examples.
I have tutored children from 6 - 18 years and know the requirements and standard needed for the KS1 and KS2 SATs exams. I have lots of experience in coaching children through the 11+ examinations and MENSA IQ testing.
