I have a First-Class degree in Spanish and Portuguese from University College London as well as a Level 5 TEFL qualification (English as a Foreign Language) and a certificate in Teaching Business English.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic language lover who is incredibly dedicated to bringing out the best in my students and helping them shine. For me the key to being a good tutor is to see every student as an individual and recognise that we all learn at different paces. It is important for me to establish what my students want to be able to take away from my lessons and set a goal that we can work to together. I had one student who came to me for help a few months before her Spanish GCSE after being predicted a D/E grade by her teachers and after our lessons together she went on to achieve a B. Another student who I worked with on a more long-term basis was predicted a C and ended up with an A*. I understand the importance of dedication and hard work in order to achieve outstanding results and am able to provide an extensive array of examples and exercises for any grammatical discipline including the most advanced topics. I also offer mock exams and exam preparation.

Availability: I am flexible with regards to scheduling lessons and am happy to work around my students` needs. I offer both face-to-face and online tuition services.

Experience: I have five years of tuition experience under my belt and have taught Spanish, Portuguese and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in three countries. I am confident tutoring at all levels and have experience working with students of all ages from young children (from the age of two), to GCSE and A level students as well as university students and mature adults. I tailor all lessons according to students` individual needs and desires, employing the use of different learning styles to suit each student. I also have experience in giving lessons in specific language components for example oral & communication skills, grammar and translation.
