I`m deeply dedicated and enthusiastic about tutoring learners in STEM subjects. My strengths lie in nurturing problem-solving skills and helping students to develop a framework for tackling complex, wordy questions. I`m committed to tutoring students of all levels to unlock their full potential. My approach to teaching is highly personalized, tailoring each lesson to the unique needs of the individual. I emphasize the importance of understanding the `why` and `how` behind concepts, which often goes unexplored in traditional education settings, allowing students to gain a more holistic understanding of different topics. This helps students to better apply their knowledge in exams, which is arguably one of the most important skills they can develop. My lessons typically start with an introduction to a topic, followed by tackling a range of problems that increase in difficulty, providing guidance and support throughout. I also offer optional, often tailor-made, resources for students to work through during the week. Helping student’s develop their exam technique is one of my main strengths.

Experience: I`ve achieved grades (A*) in A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I will be studying for an MPhys Physics Degree at the University of Oxford from October 2024. Since October 2023, I have been a Maths tutor at Guildford College and have worked with students possessing diverse educational needs, which has helped me broaden my ability to provide a bespoke approach to each student. Additionally, I have experience with one-on-one tutoring sessions for Maths A-Level and Physics GCSE. My journey in education has always involved mentoring peers, providing me with a unique perspective that enriches my tutoring approach. This dual experience as a learner and mentor allows me to offer highly effective support to my students, making learning a more enjoyable and rewarding experience.
