Experience: I am a recent graduate from the University of Birmingham in Modern Languages (Spanish and Mandarin Chinese) and Business Management. Have a flair for langauges and whilst studying abroad in Spain and China, I took the opportunity to tutor English as a foreign language in Spain and China. During the course of my degree, I not only perfected the technical aspects of the languages themseleves such as the grammar but was able to immerse myself in other modules related to film, society and literature in order to gain a deeper understanding of the culture. I believe that my years of studying languages have allowed me to understand the common difficulties faced and thus, I would adapt to the needs and goals of the student. I.e. a stronger emphasis on conversation or a stronger emphasis on gramatical structures.

Furthermore, I have always had a strong interest in music and have attained grade 8 on the Drums with Distinction. I am able to provide lessons which will cover technicalities such as rudiments and theory but also the creative aspects such as improvisation.
