Hello! I am a qualified Primary School teacher looking for tutoring work.

As schools are now shut due to the covid-19 crisis, I am offering my services as a qualified teacher to tutor your children. This can involve me supporting them with work sent home by their class teachers, or I can provide personalised tasks based on their needs.

A gap in education such as this is unprecedented, and will likely cause regression in academic success. For this reason, I believe it is important for children to maintain working on tasks based around their specific learning journey, particularly in Maths and English (Reading/Writing).

My experience means that I can ensure your child has continuity in their learning, and extra hours of tutoring will hopefully mean they are less far behind when they return to school, whenever that may be.

I have professional experience teaching and assessing primary level Maths, Reading and Writing (including Handwriting), and also Phonics. I am also happy to help in preparation for 11+ examinations.

My rates vary depending on your requirements but are competitive so please do get in touch.

Experience: I am a former Primary School teacher with a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education and Qualified Teacher Status to teach ages 5-11. I also have 2 years of professional teaching experience. I am extremely organised, reliable, and committed. I have built enriching relationships with children from many different backgrounds, and find that adults can learn from children as much as they can learn from us. I am very familiar with safeguarding procedures and work to high professional standards.

I have studied Maths and English at Sixth Form (International Baccalaureate, A level equivalent), and have GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and French.

I have an Undergraduate Degree (BA 2:1) in Accounting and Financial Management, and a PGCE in Primary Education (5-11).
