Information about Kate
I am an engaging and empathetic tutor who strives to help students reach their full potential by teaching the strategies and skills necessary for success.
I graduated from Oxford in 2018 with a First Class Degree in Geography. I ranked second in my year in finals examinations and my dissertation was highly commended in a Royal Geographical Society competition. During my time at Oxford I was a scholar at my college, Hertford, on the basis of my performance in first year examinations.
Before university I was a junior academic scholar at St Paul`s Girls` School, where I achieved 11 A*s at GCSE and A*AA at A Level (Biology, Geography, Maths), with an additional A at AS Level in Chemistry.
Availability: I am available weekday evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have tutored independently and via agencies since 2015, specialising in Oxbridge and 11+/13+ applications. I have residential tutoring experience and am DBS cleared. I believe that the key to successful tutoring is providing students with a strategic skill set to enable them to tackle any exam problem with confidence.
