I am passionate about helping students reach their academic potential as I recognise school lessons do not work for everyone. Since beginning tutoring over a decade ago I have helped numerous students achieve their academic goals.

I am currently completing my Master`s degree at the University of Cambridge after graduating from Harvard University with a high 2:1 equivalent. Before this, I was the recipient of a full bursary at Eton College and achieved full marks in local authority 11+ admissions tests.

I have experience in tutoring Electrical Engineering, Maths, Design Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and all 11+ subjects. My specialities are Maths and Physics, which I provide up to university level.

I teach to engage students with the learning material to promote effective independent study. As an open-minded and creative individual, I`m aware of how students differ in their ways of absorbing and processing information. From the first lesson onwards, I determine how the student learns and offer methods that complement it.

It`s no secret that lessons in schools are highly inefficient. I construct lesson plans that consolidate students` strengths while building their confidence and capabilities to eliminate their weaknesses. Most importantly, I create an environment where they feel supported enough to challenge themselves.

I believe I can not only improve a student`s ability within a subject but enable their success in future academic endeavours.

Outside of the classroom, I have been involved with a range of extra-curricular activities including international rowing, music performance and composition, and stage management in theatres. These have taught me self-discipline and self-awareness and were instrumental in my academic success.

Regardless of age or subject, I am committed to your improvement. My previous students have succeeded in scholarship exams as well as increasing their GCSE performance by 2 or 3 grades.

Experience: I have been tutoring for over a decade, most recently supporting Harvard students studying Physics and Electrical Engineering. Before this, I tutored secondary school students in Maths, DT, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and I am familiar with the content covered by the different exam boards. Previous students have seen an increase of 2/3 grades between their initial predicted results and final results after working with me.
