Information about Caroline
I am a fully qualified teacher for the 11-18 age range. I have a degree in history and in teaching. I have many years experience teaching various subjects including history, English, geography and as a head of the history department in a large school.
I work for the leading exam board in history both as an examiner and team leader for 15 years. I am an expert in what examiners are looking for come GCSE day and am able to give expert insight into exam technique.
I have many years experience as a private tutor and am able to always get best outcomes for the pupils that I tutor.
Availability: I am available both weekdays and weekends.

Experience: I have 15 years experience as a GCSE examiner for the leading GCSE History exam board. I also have many years experience as a History teacher (including as a head of department)

We feel very fortunate that we found Caroline to help our son with his A Level History. She is such a knowledgeable and committed teacher and my son instantly clicked with her. We have had many tutors over the years for our children but Caroline has been the most dedicated and thorough by far by preparing for each lesson and clearly wanting her pupils to get the most out of each lesson and to achieve, she spends time on the homework she sets as has been completely dedicated with every aspect he has needed to cover. Caroline has helped our son enormously and we can`t thank her enough, she has transformed his essay writing skills and knowledge for exam questions which will now stand in in good stead for University. We have had teaching in person and visual remote teaching which has been just as effective so we are extremely grateful. Thank you for all your help.

From the moment we first contacted Caroline we felt that our son would be in good hands and importantly that Caroline has a real and genuine passion for teaching. After the first session, our son felt motivated and confident that his concerns were misplaced. Several sessions on our sons approach and confidence has been transformed! We couldn’t recommend Caroline higher!
