I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Bath with a BSc in Chemistry (1st class honours) and a strong passion for teaching. I am currently working as a secondary school teaching and SEND learning support assistant with plans to complete my teaching qualification next year.

Having studied various science education modules in my final year at university, I have a strong appreciation for the difficulties students have with the current curriculum. I take time to break down complex principles into manageable, understandable components, continually testing my students to confirm they have fully grasped the content and are able to apply it as required by the specification. I also have a great understanding of outstanding exam technique and successful revision strategies to help students secure the best possible grade. My lessons are thoroughly planned to suit the specific needs and abilities of the student, ensuring they are challenging and engaging at the same time.

Experience: Experience working at a secondary school as part of my university final year research project, which included planning and delivering year 10 science lessons.
Ran a lunchtime drop-in session while at 6th form, offering support to GCSE and AS-level chemistry students who were struggling with the course and needed additional help.
Tutored my younger sisters for 1 year at KS3 and GCSE level, whose gardes and enthusiasm for science have since improved tremendously.
