Iona

Hi! My name is Iona and I am currently a student at the University of Exeter, studying Biological Sciences. I am an understanding tutor and I enjoy finding different ways to cater to personal struggles with the subject in order to make the tutoring experience as personalised as possible. I found it very rewarding helping my younger family friends with the difficulties they found at common entrance, KS3 and GCSE and have since moved to private tuition. I left secondary school very recently so I am familiar with the current exam boards and specifications, knowing very well what the examiners are looking for in order to score the top marks. I can empathise with the difficulties and fear that students face when studying for their first public examinations and I aim to make this journey as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Availability: I offer online tuition so I am very flexible with my time.

Experience: I have 10 GCSE`s including 3 A*s in the sciences and have achieved AAA in A-level Biology, Chemistry and English. I have always held a passion for Biology and Chemistry and am eager to instil a love for these subjects in others while helping them to achieve their highest grade in a fun and supportive way.
