I am based in West London. I am a recent zoology graduate from the University of Bristol. My main focus is on primary school education in Maths, English, Non-verbal and verbal reasoning and preparation for 11 plus exams. I charge between £25-£35 per hour depending on age, material requirements and travel. I believe in teaching one-to-one as in my experience this has proven to be most effective. The first session will consist of an assessment and then a discussion about the program most suitable for your child. The cost of the first session will be lower than the subsequent sessions.

Experience: Since the age of 13 I have been regularly assisting my parents on their tuition business which focuses on 11 plus preparation. In the past 3 years I have taken on primary school students myself and have assisted them to get into desired secondary schools as well as improving their Maths and English abilities. I have worked as mentor at university and have knowledge of primary school education from my zoology studies. I believe that commitment is important when preparing for secondary school exams and for this reason I recommend attending at least one session a week. I also believe that in my cases, children progress further when being taught on a one-to-one basis as this allows me to tailor a program which is most suitable to them. Additionally, I have access to lots of materials and past exam papers. Prices are negotiable depending on age, number of lessons/hours required and whether it is for exam preparation or just to boost a child’s academic ability.
