I am a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with a Postgraduate Study of Education and Learning (Distinction) and extensive experience teaching and tutoring students across a range of educational settings in the UK and internationally. I specialise in GCSE and A Level English Literature, English Language, and Religious Studies, supporting students across all major exam boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, Eduqas, and Cambridge.

Experience: Since January 2023, I have specialised in teaching GCSE and A Level English Literature, English Language, and Religious Studies, delivering both one-to-one and small-group tuition across all major exam boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, Eduqas, and Cambridge. In Religious Studies, I have extensive experience teaching Philosophy of Religion, Ethics, Christian Thought, and GCSE Religious Studies themes. I support students in mastering AO1 knowledge and AO2 evaluation skills, helping them confidently engage with scholars, debates, ethical theories, and theological arguments. Students are taught how to construct sophisticated evaluative essays, integrate scholarly viewpoints, and achieve the highest mark bands in examinations.

In English Literature and Language, I have successfully supported students with literary analysis, unseen texts, comparative essays, Shakespeare, poetry, modern prose, and non-fiction texts. My lessons focus on developing perceptive interpretation, advanced analytical writing, contextual understanding, and effective examination strategies. Students are guided through the requirements of different exam boards and taught how to write high-level responses that meet assessment objectives consistently.

Alongside my specialist tutoring, I have substantial classroom teaching experience in both primary and secondary education. I have taught in UK schools and international settings, including teaching within the Cambridge International Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
