Hello! My name is Sarathi. I am currently teaching biology, chemistry, physics and english all at GCSE level. I have also studied biology, chemistry, and physics at A-level with achieving all A`s in these subjects at a grammar school sixth form. As a first year medical student, I also coach aspiring medics to help them prepare for their medical school interviews.

MEDICAL INTERVIEW TUTORING:
I am currently a second year medical student and offer tutoring for medical school interviews. I teach a wide range of interview techniques such as panel interviews and MMI`s.
I received my university offer the day after my interview which means I know exactly what is needed to make my students stand out against hundreds of other applicants.
I coach my medicine students the key things to include in their answers during interviews and also teach them on how to best structure their answers. I personalise all my lessons to find my students weaknesses and help them improve on these so their interview is not affected.

KS3 + GCSE SCIENCES:
My teaching techniques include making sure my student has a deep understanding of the content before moving on to a wide range of exam style questions. Not only do I teach them all the key content they need to learn but I also coach my students on exactly what the mark schemes require from them to get the maximum amount of marks during a science paper.
This ensures that all my students are all thoroughly prepared for any upcoming exams and can tackle broad style of questions under timed conditions.

KS3 + GCSE ENGLISH:
With english literature I help students find a deep analysis about the quotes, themes and characters, enabling them to form their own unique viewpoints which will stand out in exam essays, crafting answers that I know examiners will mark highly. With english language, I help students explore the structure and specific language the author has used emphasising the importance of catering their answers to the mark scheme to get the highest marks possible.

MY TEACHING STYLE:
I like to teach my students holistically, making sure the way I teach is best suited to them, where the session will be engaging and productive. During the lesson, I craft the best notes for my students, all which are uploaded to a shared google drive with them afterwards. These notes are the best exam preparation sources for my students that contain all the content required but also key information that will enable them to score highly in exams.

As a previous student myself who has learnt the new content and sat the exams for new 9-1 GCSEs I have a deep understanding of everything you need to know for the exams. I can also give the best tips and advice to handle exam pressure and revision.

Availability: I only do online lessons. These offer the same interactive experience. I upload all lesson resources to a shared google drive after so my students have easy accessibility to the lesson content whenever.

NOTE: For English tutoring I teach the AQA specification with the english literature texts being : Macbeth, Inspector Calls and Love and Relationships Poetry.
