Information about Salma

I am an outstanding teacher and tutor, as accredited by Ofsted, and have had many years of experience teaching children in key stages 1, 2 and 3 in Oxford, London and Sydney. I have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and access to the latest methods and resources in education.

I believe every child deserves to love learning and through my personalised and creative approach, I have tremendous success in raising attainment levels and inspiring enthusiasm. My students always make accelerated progress and their end of year results more often than not exceed national expectation.

As a tutor, I bring with me a patient, warm and energetic presence. I tutor across all subjects and have had key leadership responsibilities in improving attainment levels in Literacy and Maths at my current school. My excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum means that your child will have access to the latest methods and the best resources to ensure they are not only engaged in their learning but make good progress too.

Enthusiasm and the desire to learn is the key to success. Therefore, I personalise classes to suit your child and build upon his or her interests. Whether it be through art, performance, magic, creative writing or a topic-based project, I ensure your child finds enjoyment in learning and makes excellent progress too.

Like you, I am passionate about ensuring your child reaches his or her full potential. With competitive rates, you will have access to one of the most successful teachers in Oxfordshire.

Experience: I have worked for over a decade in education, teaching in Primary, Secondary and Adult Learning colleges. As well as being a classroom teacher and tutoring children from key stage one up to A Level, I am employed as a trouble shooter at a Good school that is heading towards Outstanding. I give demonstration lessons to newly qualified and experienced teachers and design exemplary plans and schemes of work.

Working closely with Outstanding schools, I organise staff training and work closely with school leadership to improve the attainment of every child in Literacy and Numeracy. I bring with me ample experience in developing tutees` understanding and breadth of knowledge and I use a wide variety of tools and resources to ensure success.
