Hello! I`m Sonia and I am currently a sixth form student studying my A levels at a grammar school. I`m an enthusiastic and driven tutor with a passion for teaching and education. I specialise in tutoring Biology, Chemistry, English and Psychology (GCSE, KS2,KS3). My teaching ethos: I firmly believe in high-quality tuition and have developed an individual teaching style through experience. I take a very active role in teaching challenging aspects of the subjects I tutor and I believe the 1-to-1 dynamic of these lessons is highly conducive to success. I always encourage students to ask questions and support students to be curious and interested in their learning. I stay on top of the latest specifications for my students and ensure my lessons are planned with these in mind. I set and mark homework tasks for students to help reinforce knowledge. I Studied my GCSE`s as a private student and successfully achieved one grade 9, three grade 8`s and two grade 7`s. These grades translate to all A*`s and A`s. Experience: I have 2 years worth of experience in tutoring and every student I have taught would describe me as efficient, friendly, and helpful. I aim to motivate the student to recognise their highest potential and like to challenge them to rise above their academic expectations. I am also A Biology Ambassador within my school community in which I help, tutor and mark work for the younger students.
