I am a Head of Psychology at a sixth form college and I have 7 years experience teaching Psychology a-level. I currently teach the AQA specification (linear). I have a detailed understanding of the current specification and exam techniques. My aim as a teacher and tutor of the new specification is to prepare students as much as possible for the linear requirement to A-level examinations. Each session I deliver will be catered towards the tutees individual needs and requests including exam preparation, developing essay writing skills, strengthening knowledge of topics and preparing to meet AO1, A02 and A03 assessment objectives.

I also teach Criminology, level 3 Diploma.

Experience: I currently teach Psychology to 16-18 year old students. I have been teaching psychology for 7 years, previously working at Loreto Sixth Form College. Prior to this, I have worked in a grammar school with children aged between 11-16 teaching additional English and Maths. This also included working with children with dyslexia and autism on a pastoral level. I have delivered enhancing learning sessions at MMU for trainee teachers. During my PGCE I taught Sociology, Health & Social Care, PSHE and citizenship to ages 11-18.
