Hi, thanks for viewing my page. I am 40 years old and provide tutoring from my home for the 11 plus CEM test for Gloucestershire.

What`s my approach
- Initial focus is on identifying your child`s basic level in the 3 core areas of the CEM 11 plus
- Then identify weak areas and focus on those
- Weekly homework given to emphasis core basics in Maths & Verbal
- Practise very specific exam technique`s to improve probability of success in each question

Provide advice to parents
- Discuss how we as a team can help motivate your chid to maximum success
- Suggest difference approaches to help increase learning at home
- Provide a detailed schedule of work that needs to be done from the start of year 5 onwards (or shorter)
- Which mock exams to sit and which to not sit
- Which schools are realistic and which are not for your child
- How to prepare in the event you need to appeal

Availability: Monday to Friday Evenings
Weekends Morning, Afternoon & Evening slots available

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: Experience in preparing children for grammar school tests
- Tutored children to grammar school places in London and Cheltenham (Non Such, Sir Thomas Rich, Crypt, Marlings, etc)
- Tutored my own son to offers from Sir Thomas Rich, Crypt & Marlings

Academic and work experience mean I have a good knowledge in the core 11 plus subjects (Maths, NVR, Verbal)
- Degree in Maths from Kingston University
- Currently working for a well known financial company as a senior actuarial analyst so use Maths all day
- Worked in the city for a large multinational investment bank
