I am a qualified English teacher (PGCE with QTS) and graduate of the University of Cambridge (BA and MA in History), with five years’ experience teaching and tutoring English Literature, English Language, History, Creative Writing, and Public Speaking.

My approach is warm, structured, and creative. I have successfully supported students preparing for GCSEs, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, Sixth Form interviews, Oxbridge admissions, and enrichment programmes — helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I charge £45 per hour and offer a free 30-minute trial lesson, which allows you to experience my teaching style and gives me the chance to assess the student’s ability and learning needs.

I currently work as a qualified English teacher, teaching KS3–KS4 English Language and Literature. My lessons focus on building confidence, structure, and creativity — whether preparing students for exams or developing their wider curiosity about language and ideas.

- 11+ and 13+ entrance exams (English, Verbal Reasoning, and creative writing)

- Sixth Form and Oxbridge preparation, including interview skills and personal statements

- Creative writing and public speaking, developing advanced vocabulary and confidence

- My experience also includes one-to-one tutoring, online lessons, and leading enrichment sessions designed to stretch high-achieving students or support those who need extra confidence.
