I have worked in schools for over 27 years, working with young people to help them get the very best they can and have a passion for helping young people overcome perceived barriers to their learning.

I have been a teacher, head of department, local authority leading science teacher and held many senior leadership posts, but the most important part of my job is, as it always has been, working to see a student`s expression when they understand something they thought they couldn`t do.

Availability: I am available for after school / evenings, weekends and during the school holidays.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have a proven track record with all secondary age students, both in Maths and Science. For A-level Physics, I have helped students gain access to world class universities, such as Oxford & Cambridge, but also Ivy League universities in the USA.

All schools I have ever worked in received, whilst I was there, at least a `Good` grading from Ofsted or equivalent.
