I`ve had success in raising the confidence and performance of students experiencing academic difficulties. As a good communicator, a friendly, outgoing, approachable, and sensible person, I`m well suited to teaching at the individual level. Speaking multiple languages enables the potential for reaching a broader range of students.

I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.

I am currently on a gap year, having applied for Pharmacology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry at numerous UK and Canadian Universities. I have received offers from University College London (UCL), King`s College London, the University of East Anglia, the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, Queen`s University (Canada), and the University of Waterloo. I achieved the IB Point requirements for each of these offers.

I have confirmed a place at the University of British Columbia for 2021 where I will be pursuing a double major in Pharmacology and Behavioural Neuroscience.

Experience: I have previously tutored younger students in music in individual instrumental work and music theory. I have lead collaborative musical groups in orchestral, modern rock, and indigenous world music (Zimbabwean Marimba, Indonesian Gamelan)

I have been involved in individually-directed and group research, and collaborative STEM projects involving design and technology and would be happy to teach within that realm as well.

I also have experience tutoring individuals in academic subjects including Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese both online and in-person. Ages of students I have worked with in the past have ranged from early childhood (8+) to 6th form age (16-18).
