Hello, my name is Ben and I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with 8 years experience teaching Year 2, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.
In my time as a teacher I have been subject leader for Maths and PE but teach all subjects across the primary curriculum. I am currently in charge of Assessment so do know all about the expectations for EYFS, KS1 KS2. I have knowledge of different teaching strategies to ensure that your child reaches their full potential and learns in their way.
I am looking to tutor children on evenings through term time for both Maths and English at either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 level. Over the past year I have tutored children from Nursery age with early phonics and recognition of numbers up to Year 11 with GCSE Maths curriculum.
I am happy to travel and my expenses for fuel, photocopying and planning are covered in the cost of tuition. I charge £30 per child, per hour.
