I am a Biomedical Science graduate and have been teaching for 10 years. I love tutoring and I specialise in the Sciences; specifically: A-level Biology, A-level Chemistry, GCSE Physics, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Biology and GCSE Science.
I have a friendly approach to teaching which puts students at ease. I am a dedicated teacher who aims to engage and share a passion for science. I am more than happy to help with anything from building confidence to perfecting exam technique.

Cancellation policy:
The lesson must be cancelled 24 hours before the arranged start time, otherwise full payment will be taken. If the lesson is cancelled before this time it can be rearranged free of charge.
Availability: For the 2025/2026 exams I currently have 1 space on a Sunday evening, 1 space on a Monday evening and potential availability on a Wednesday/Thursday evening.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have taught all three sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) to year 7 to 13 (Key stage 3, GCSE and `A` level) pupils for the last 10 years.

Emily did a fantastic job supporting my daughter with her GCSE science, she grew in confidence and achieved a 9/8 in her exams. Which was more than she expected, emily was so supportive and worked at my daughter pace. She was brilliant!

We’ve had Emily tutor our 15 year old (year 10) son in chemistry for about 6 months. During this period he’s definitely grown more confident in the subject and has gone up almost 3 grades in his internal tests. Our son has found the lessons helpful and has enjoyed working with Emily, despite his fundamental dislike of the subject!
