I am a highly experienced English, Drama and Film Studies teacher who has taught in secondary `Good` and `Outstanding` graded schools for over eight years. I have been a private tutor in addition to my classroom teaching throughout the eight years. I am proud of the services I have provided which have helped to better support the students academic successes and am looking to take on some more tutees as we have just relocated to a new area.

I have excellent communication skills and I am very patient and understanding. I am dedicated to helping support my students and endeavour to always meet their needs. I am good at listening and explaining things clearly, at a level appropriate for my student. I tutor across a wide range of ages - Primary, Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. I tailor my tutoring support to match the student`s learning style.

My kind and enthusiastic manner is popular with students at all levels. I provide a personal teaching experience that helps ensure students reach their goals. Each tutor session is planned according to the needs of the student. Complex skills are divided into digestible chunks, so students learn and enjoy step by step and can see and be proud of the progress they make.

Experience: I am highly experienced in the 1-9 GCSEs and am extremely knowledgeable of the AQA exams for Literature and Language. I also have experience in IGCSE English, A/AS level English Literature and Language. I can also offer tutoring in Eduqas/WJEC GCSE Film Studies.

Another of my specialisms is teaching literacy, handwriting, basic grammar and reading skills to all age groups.

I have been graded `outstanding` in my professional observations. I have been form tutor to multiple age groups and have also had the responsibility of Head of Drama, Head of House and Assistant Head of Year.
