Skills - I have excellent computer skills and can use a range of different programs from word to excel. I have good language skills and can speak fluent Panjabi and a modest amount of French. I am a skilful and confident leader with great interpersonal and communicative skills. I enjoy working in a team and creating good relationships with people so that the working environment is friendly and motivational.

Operational Skills – In my free time I enjoy reading, going out with friends and helping out with charity work, as I feel fortunate to be able to help those less fortunate. The money raised from each event continuously outshines all previous donations as we promote the charities and make the events bigger each time. In my spare time I organize a girls social club where girls from the community come and we discuss social and worldly matters as well as enjoy doing many activities.

I would like to continue to develop my teaching skills while creating a challenging and fun learning environment for students. The middle school age group is particularly appealing to me, because students are very impressionable, interested in learning, and open to new concepts. I am passionate about helping students improve in all academic subjects and I specialise in teaching mathematics and 11 plus. I am confident that my strong desire to help students achieve their goals will go a long way in providing high-quality services to your children.

Experience: Primary School Class Room Assistant 07-JUN-2010 to 18-JUN-2010 Responsibilities:
During work experience I worked in my primary school where I was fortunate enough to be able to work with children in all age groups from reception to year 6. I was given my own class of a few children and as my specialism is mathematics, I worked through problems with them. During the two weeks I was able to understand the children and the different learning aspects of every child. I looked over the reading, which was interesting as some were really well and some really struggled. I also helped members of staff in the classroom with organising equipment for pupils and any resources needed for the lessons.

Primary School Class Room Assistant 06-FEB-2012 to 10-FEB-2012 Responsibilities:
I also did work experience at another school and as it was not people whom I already know or who have taught me so i experienced different teaching styles. I was only put into year 1 but role was quite similar of assisting the children with the class work and helping them in understanding what to do and to follow basic instructions. I also supervised the children in the playground and with any medical assistance required.

Tutor 11 Plus Tutor 01-AUG-2012 to 01-SEP-2012 Responsibilities:
I helped train my brother and cousin sister for the 11 plus tests. I familiarised my self with the content of the tests and then arranged papers and resources that would help them. This allowed me to improve how to explain the content and how to be patient with children in that age range. I would mark and the go through the papers with both of them. They both passed and are now in a grammar school. This was an exciting challenge for me as it was my first time but rewarding as well as I was successful.

Spice Leaf Catering Customer Service 01-AUG-2012 to 31-AUG-2012 Responsibilities:
Customer service at a family owned catering business in Birmingham. My main role was to do all basic office work such as filling and booking in orders as well as answering any calls and helping customers with any enquires. I also would book in and out any deliveries made and make sure that food was delivered on time at all occasions. I also sorted out the dates that each event was booked and made sure that every employeees received their wages on time and the correct amount.

I have been tutoring 1:1 and online for the past 7 years. I currently have 6 years of primary classroom experience ranging ages 5 to 11.
