Hello there!

A passionate linguist, I graduated from the University of Oxford (The Queen`s College) in 2013 having read French and German. I was soon offered a graduate position as a buyer with Lidl supermarkets, dealing with suppliers from across Europe, frequently using both languages. During this time I also tutored a number of students, ranging from GCSE to A Level through to independent adult learners. I have now moved back to London and am continuing to tutor whilst working as a commercial airline pilot.

We will focus on your needs be it reading, writing, speaking or listening and I prefer to use a variety of methods including personalised worksheets, general conversation, audio/video clips and appropriate real world/past exam paper material. I am not huge fan of online tutoring and am happy to come to you.

Availability: Most afternoons and evenings are free and I can be flexible.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: Spent 7 months teaching English in a French high school as part of the Erasmus exchange programme, planning and delivering lessons to classes of up to 15 students.
Internship in Frankfurt with Kern, a large translation company. Since graduating have tutored both French and German, ranging from total beginner through to GCSE, A-Level and adult learner.
Over 200 hours of tutoring to date.
Continue to learn other languages in my spare time, reaching a proficient level of Spanish and Hebrew and until recently attending Swedish evening classes.
