Hello! I`m a recent graduate in biology from University of Oxford. Over my degree, I have worked multiple summer schools with sixth form students, introducing them to the academic timetable of an undergraduate, teaching them concepts in the biological sciences, and also helping them with the Oxbridge application process. I absolutely love spreading my joy for the study of life, and I found watching the passion for biology emerge in my students over the weeks incredibly rewarding.

I achieved As and A*s in my A-Levels and have good knowledge of the specification and exam techniques needed to hit top grades. I aim to teach my students by breaking concepts down into simplified and understandable portions, and condensing their revision into only exactly what they need know. I tailor lessons to each individual learner depending on how they learn best.

I am friendly, approachable and patient. Overall, I aim to increase the confidence (and enjoyment of!) of my students in their chosen subject in order to help push them to their full academic potential.

I also support students with their UCAS applications, especially the Oxbridge application process, including interviews and personal statements.

Availability: My availability is very flexible and I am happy to accommodate for your needs whether they involve variable times week to week or a set day each week. Weekends are also often possible.

I have extensive experience in teaching 16-17 year olds concepts in biology in the bridge between sixth form and university.

Having taken numerous exams in school and university, I can relate to how students may feel when approaching exams. Taking GCSEs and A-Levels need a good understanding of both the content of the subject and exam technique and I aim to pinpoint what needs improving in my lessons.
